Hip-Hop Dance Boot Camp is a fun, innovative dance program (June-August) that is a unique experience for participants at over night summer camps to learn the important elements of the most popular dance form in the world. HHDBC offers a three-day, two day or one-day boot camp that is tailored to meets the needs of each individual camp. The program is structured to teach hip-hop dance in a fun interactive way, that includes dance techniques such as Popping, Locking, Break Dance, Tutting, Waacking, krumping, House and Footwork. By exposing the participants to the different styles of hip-hop dance, our program encourages the dancers to gain the confidence to step out of their comfort zone, and identify the style of hip-hop dance they can relate to. Learning a variety of dance moves offers a movement repertoire that translates into more confidence in social situations. Our staff is continually amazed at the camaraderie that develops between the campers as beginners and advanced dancers work together for a common goal that is unique to the summer camp experience.

The Hip-Hop Dance Boot Camp instructors and participants will also teach a couple of dance moves to the rest of the camp and counselors’ in a fun interactive way.
